The Buick Envista is Coming to America!

2025 Buick Envista Avenir trim in silver featuring premium exterior styling and design elements

new Buick SUV is joining the lineup. Having proven its mettle in overseas markets, the 2023 Buick Envista will arrive in the United States at Buick dealerships in time for the 2023 model year. Anticipation is already running high for this compact SUV, so Starling Buick GMC is sharing what we know ahead of its arrival.

Performance

Overseas Buick Envista variants are currently powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine capable of providing drivers up to 181 horsepower. However, this powertrain may be subject to change for the American model to keep this SUV competitive in its segment.

Features

Drivers can expect the 2023 Buick Envista to contain the level of luxury seen in every other new Buick model. All trim levels will feature seating for up to five passengers, each of whom can enjoy the premium upholstery on all seats.

Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ will enable passengers to enjoy their choice of infotainment along their journeys. We also expect many premium features to be available in the upper trims, especially in the luxurious Avenir models so popular at our Buick dealership.

Although not confirmed, drivers can most likely expect the 2023 Buick Envista also to contain the host of driver assistance features available to other Buick models. Available features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keep Assist with Lane-Departure Warnings, and Automatic Emergency Braking.

Are you ready for the 2023 Buick Envista’s entrance to the US market? Although already available in China, the exact release date of the Buick Envista in the United States is still unknown, so be on the lookout for updates and preordering information from Starling Buick GMC!

Ask Carroll Buick GMC: How to Use the LATCH System

Car seats are essential to your children’s safety. However, if they aren’t installed correctly, it can seriously diminish the protection they provide. At Carroll Buick GMC, we’re highlighting how to use the LATCH System so that you can be confident in yours. What is the LATCH System? The LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) System is an attachment system. It was designed to make it easier to install car seats and ensure they’re installed correctly. There are top and lower anchors to help keep your car seat securely fastened in your vehicle too. How Does the LATCH System Work? Car seats include lower anchor connectors, which must be attached to your vehicle's lower anchors. These are typically found where the top and lower cushions meet in your rear seat. Forward-facing car seats also include a top tether, which should be attached to the top anchor in your vehicle. It can be found on the panel behind the rear seat, on the back of the seat, ceiling, or floor. The top tether is designed to keep forward-facing car seats from tipping forward. What About My Seatbelt? Car seats can be attached using the LATCH System lower anchors or seat belts; they are equally safe. You don’t need to use both. However, a forward-facing car seat should always use the top tether, whether you use the LATCH System or a seat belt. Do You Still Have Questions? Do you still have questions about the LATCH system? The trained technicians at our Buick service center in Venice, FL, are happy to help. We are more than happy to help with your car seat installation too. What Does the New Buick Logo Mean?

Exciting things are on the horizon for Buick vehicles, including the first Buick EV in 2024 and chic redesigns. In fact, each new Buick SUV will soon adorn a new logo. We’re taking a closer look at the redesign at Carroll Buick GMC. Buick History Buick vehicles date back to 1903 when David Dunbar Buick started the company. Today, the Buick brand is part of General Motors and has a lineup of stunning SUVs. Logo Redesign Buick has revealed a newer version of its tri-shield logo, first showcased on its concept car, the Buick Wildcat EV. The logo is expected to be part of all future Buick vehicles. This marks the first redesign of the brand’s logo since 1990. What Will It Look Like? The logo currently encloses three red, white, and blue shields within a silver circle, ascending diagonally. The new logo will no longer have the outer ring, and the three shields will now be displayed across an even horizontal plane. Each of the diagonal stripes inside each shield will also be removed and replaced with angular lines. Why the Change? As mentioned, the logo has remained relatively unchanged (other than minor enhancements) for over 30 years. As the Buick brand shifts to an electric future, the emblem follows suit with a more modern approach. After the first EV release in 2024, the company hopes to shift to an electric-only lineup by the decade’s end.
