The GMC Acadia is one of the largest three-row SUVs in the mid-size segment. It comes with a third row that has enough room for actual adults, a quality that’s rare in the mid-size class. What’s new for 2025 in the GMC Acadia?

Seating for eight is now standard across the Acadia lineup and and so is a rear-seat reminder, as well as seat-belt tensioners, a Vehicle Health Management system and all-season tires wrapped around 18-inch wheels. The entry-level Elevation trim now gives Arcadia, FL families a second-row bench in place of captain’s chairs. A new Premium package includes 20-inch wheels and the Elevation rides on 18-inch Dark Gray wheels. The Trailering package comes standard on every trim and so does an OnStar Basics package. The 2025 GMC Acadia offers a number of available dealer-installed features including a roof rack and cross rails, wheel locks, center caps, lug nuts and 22-inch wheels with a bright finish.

Performance

The GMC Acadia for 2025 is powered by a 2.5-liter inline turbocharged four-cylinder engine that you can count on for 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. If you want an off-road version of the Acadia, move up to the AT4 trim level and you’ll get an Active Torque control all-wheel drive system, extra ground clearance, underbody skid plates and a suspension system that’s tuned for adventures in uncharted territory.

The AT4 model also comes with a Terrain drive mode and hill-descent control. Every version of the new 2025 GMC Acadia can tow up to 5000 pounds.
